Greetings.
I am happy to introduce RCOS Online Ortho PG Course, the first of its kind in India. Our motto is ‘Learn for Life & Not for Exams’. We aim to make you an insightful orthopaedic surgeon with conscience, knowledge and skills.
Our course is intended to be a virtual classroom. There will be four modules a year, each lasting three months. Modules will only cover the shoulder, elbow, wrist and hand. Each module has 13 sessions of two-hour classes. The classes will be run during the weekends.
Our primary focus is on interactive debate, case based discussion, clinical video demonstration as well as pre and post course assessment.
This course is a sole project of mine, supplemented by a host of prominent national and international faculty with a keen interest in teaching budding orthopaedic surgeons. We seek knowledge and nothing but knowledge; we do not encourage self-promotion or commercial bias. Our aim is to teach you all essential skills and instill confidence in the process.
We aim this program towards Indian orthopaedic postgraduate students and residents, ie. they will be given first preference. Surgeons who have completed their post graduate degree/diploma within the past 2 years are also eligible to apply. They will be considered subject to availability of seats.
